Hearts of Oak players are currently owed winning bonuses of 3 matches as well as one month salary, information reaching Modernghana.com has revealed.
The winning bonuses according to sources are for matches the Phobians won against Dreams FC, Bechem United, and Accra Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League.
The playing body has additionally not been paid for last month with reports suggesting that it is as a result of the financial difficulties presented by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
It is now understood that players of Hearts of Oak are grieving in silence as they wait for the club to make payment of the monies they are owed.
With players staying at home in the absence of football activities, they are hoping to hear something positive before the end of this week.
Meanwhile, some followers of the club are asking questions as to why players will be owed but the club will be spending money to bring in new recruits at a time where the Ghana Premier League has been suspended.
