Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu is charging everyone to have faith that the world will see an end to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic very soon.

The World has in the past 4 months been fighting a common war against the Novel Coronavirus which originated from the City of Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China.

As of the morning of Friday, April 17, there had been over 2 million confirmed cases of the disease worldwide. Out of that number, there have been over 550,000 recoveries and sadly 145,000 deaths.

In Ghana, the number of confirmed cases stands at 461 with 83 recoveries and 8 deaths as well. Not only has the economy of the West African country been hit, but it has also affected almost everything including the livelihood of the ordinary Ghanaian.

Speaking through a video posted on the YouTube page of Asante Kotoko, coach Maxwell Konadu has urged everybody to have hope. According to him, though the pandemic has really had an effect on the world, he is confident God will end it in no time.

“If you put all together, you will come to understand that this COVID-19 pandemic has really affected us”, the experienced trainer shared.

He added, “But we should not lose hope, there will definitely be an end to this. God will show the way and gracefully help so we can get to meet again”.

Coach Maxwell Konadu and his Kotoko team just like every club in Ghana are currently inactive because the 2019/2020 football season has been suspended as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus.
