Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu has opened up on how bad he is missing football in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic the world is facing.

The disease which originated from the city of Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China has spread across the various continents including Africa.

As a precautionary measure against its spread, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in line with a directive from the government banning all public gatherings, has suspended the 2019/2020 football season.

In a video posted on the YouTube page of Asante Kotoko, head coach Maxwell Konadu has been talking about how he misses the beautiful game of football.

“I seriously miss the players, those fond memories of when we go for training and we engage in playful acts before sessions begin.

“Honestly, I miss football, I miss Ghana Football in particular and the players we work with, but I know it won’t be long we shall meet again to continue our work”, the former assistant coach for the Black Stars shared.

As of Thursday, April 16, 2020, there had been 641 recorded cases of the COVID-19 in Ghana with 83 recoveries and 8 deaths as well.
