Deputy coach of Karela United, Mallam Yahaya says Ghana Premier League clubs will suffer at their hands when the league returns.

Football activities have been suspended following the outbreak of coronavirus.

Mallam Yahaya was announced as the assistant manager for Karela United earlier this week.

However, the veteran trainer has fired warning shots to the top guns of the league arguing a lot of clubs will suffer against Karela United including the Porcupine Warriors, who have been touted as favourites to clinch the 2019-2020 title.

“We can achieve a lot if we work together as a team. A lot of clubs will suffer at our hands including Asante Kotoko.

“If we are to play a league decider with Asante Kotoko, my team; Karela FC will beat Asante Kotoko,” the former New Edubiase tactician told Kumasi-based Ashh FM.

“We won’t allow Kotoko to beat us in a league decider. No!. It will never happen under my tenure” he stressed.

He is expected to bring his wealth of experience to the table as the Pride and Passion side seek to meander their way out of relegation after enduring a dismal start to the 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League.
