Coach J.E Sarpong is looking forward to a good spell with the national under 23 team, the Black Meteors.
The Ghana Football Association appointed the former Heart of Lions trainer as assistant coach of the Meteors two weeks ago.
He will be working together with head coach of the side, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio.
His immediate assignment is to conduct the first phase of a player scouting exercise.
A pool of 40 players from the National division one and premier leagues are expected to assemble in Prampram from June 7 for the exercise.
This is coach Sarpong's first national appointment in his 30-year career and he believes the time is ripe for him to share his vast experience.
