As many as seven (7) Ghana Premier League clubs have written to Division One League club New Edubiase United over the possible signing of striker Abdul Basit Umar.
According to the president of the club Abdul Salam Yakubu, the likes of Aduana Stars WAFA, Karela united, Great Olympics, Techiman Eleven wonders, Berekum Chelsea, and Ebusua Dwarfs have all expressed interest in the services of the formal Black Satellites forward.
"7 clubs have written to us for the services of our player Abdul Basit Umar", Mr. Salam told Ashh FM in an interview.
While it remains unclear where the player will make the switch to, sources say Techiman Eleven Wonders lead the race for the 20-year-old striker.
Abdul Basit Umar as a young player already has loads of experience and had a short loan stint with Irish club Ballymena United in 2018.
