Asante Kotoko legend, Malik Jabir beleives the problem of the club is not the Executive Chairman of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei.
Dr Kyei, who took over the club from Samuel Opoku Nti has come under intense pressure with supporters of the club calling for his exit.
However, according Malik Jabir, who won Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, beleives Dr Kyei's appointees are the problem.
"Nobody should touch Dr Kyei, they should rather help him and give him matured men to work with because those who gave him the assurance to work with have really failed him," Jabir told OTEC FM
"The previous chairmen who succeed in Kotoko worked with big people who are knowledgeable and solve problems with their expertise aside from football.
"Dr Kyei's biggest mistake was to appoint young guys who are innocent and don't even know much about the club that has caused Kotoko off late," he added.
