Asante Kotoko players are yet to receive their winning bonus following their win over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors stunned their bitter rivals 2:1 in the matchday six fixtures.

Justice Blay and Naby Keita got the goals for the 23 times Ghana Premier League champions with Joseph Esso scoring a consolation for the Phobians.

Following the hard-fought win, Kotoko players were promised Ghc2,000 each by Executive Chairman of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei.

However, the players refused the offer after the technical team were excluded.

According to the players, the technical team must earn an equal amount with them but Dr Kyei failed to welcome the demand of the players.

Many have questioned the management style of Dr Kyei with former players and former management members of the club calling for his exit.

Reports also say that the players are yet to receive other winning bonuses from their previous matches played before the suspension of the Ghana Premier League.

After 14 matches played, Kotoko are occupying the 3rd position with 25 points on the league log.
