Modernghana Sports can confirm that striker Abednego is now eligible to feature for Hears of Oak and will be in action when the Ghana Premier League resumes.

The former Bechem United goal poacher was signed by the Phobians in January this year but not on time for him to be registered for the ongoing 2019/2020 season due to a delay in the arrival of his paperwork from his last club.

Having received the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) of the player recently, Hearts of Oak has taken advantage of the opening of the second transfer window and has successfully registered him with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Abednego Tetteh is now cleared and will play for Hearts of Oak when the league resumes from the suspension put on it due to the Coronavirus pandemic which continues to cause a scare in the country.

The highly-rated forward will be expected to fight for a starting role with striker Kofi Kordzi who is the club’s top goal scorer after 14 matchdays. The bulky attacker has netted 6 goals and remains one of the key players for the Accra-based side.
