Tanzanian clubs Azam FC and Simba FC have reportedly rekindled their interest in signing Asante Kotoko striker Sogne Yacouba.

The Burkinabe has attracted offers from several clubs on the African continent in the last few months with his contract with Asante Kotoko expiring next month.

The Porcupine Warriors initially opted not to open fresh negotiations with the dreaded striker as a result of the huge figure quoted by the player’s representatives which means his contract situation at Kotoko remains unsettled although there are reports he might finally extend his stay at the club.

Amid the uncertainty surrounding his Kotoko future, one of the player’s representatives Ahmed Nuno has confirmed to South African portal Soccer Laduma that PSL side Lamontville Golden Arrows FC have also made an offer for the player.
