The Yellow and Mauves hosted the Dade Boys at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park today in what was a Match Week 12 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 domestic league season.
At the end of a very tough encounter, the 20th-minute equalizer from Prince Opoku Agyemang sealed the win for Medeama SC who emerged as 1-0 winners over Great Olympics.
The 3 points amassed from the match has ensured that the Tarkwa-based club climbed to 3rd on the Ghana Premier League standings. They are on the same points (23) with Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea who are in 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
Up next for Medeama SC, they will go up against King Faisal next weekend. A big win will lift the club to the top of the standings while increasing their title aspirations.
