Ghana will continue her build up to next year's All Africa Games with another invitational meet in Abuja, Nigeria this weekend.
A team of locally-based athletes will leave the country this afternoon for Abuja where they will be competing with other athletes from the sub-region.
The athletes will be joined by their foreign-based colleagues, Aziz Zakari and Vida Anim at the meet.
Sandy Osei-Agyeman, chairman of the Ghana Athletics Association, believes the championship will be a good exposure for some emerging local stars who will be influential in Ghana's All African Games campaign.
