Kumasi Asante Kotoko have opened up the race for the One touch GHALCA Top 4 title, by beating city rivals King Faisal 1-0 at the Sunyani Coronation Park yesterday.

Kotoko's win takes them to third place on 5 points same as King Faisal.

Alhaji Grunsah's team remains in second place only on goals difference.

Striker Nana Arhin Duah scored his first goal of the season in the 57th minute to give the Porcupine Warriors their first win of the competition.

Arhin Duah who, before his goal had missed numerous goal-scoring opportunities finally benefited from a through pass from Charles Taylor to earn his side the much needed win.

After yet another solid display from the returnee, Charles Taylor says Kotoko are now poised to register a resounding victory over USCAFOOT of Madagascar in the ir final champions league eliminator at the Len Clay stadium this weekend.

With two games to the end of the competition, Hearts top the log with 6 points while Berekum Arsenals slump to last place with 4 points
