Kpando Heart of Lions continued their impressive run in the OneTouch special knockout with a lone goal victory over Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park to advance to the quarterfinals.

Abraham Annan scored the only goal of the crunch duel in the 23rd minute to give Lions their second win of the competition.

The game was Liberty's first competitive match in three months and they had hoped to make the most of it.

Yet, coach Jones Attuquayefio says he is not worried about the outcome.

But Coach Hans Van Der Pluym was elated by the results.

The Dutchman who is on his second spell with the club told Joy Sports his team will be remarkable this season.

AshantiGold, Real Sportive and Sekondi Hasaacas all made it to the last eight of the knockout competition after match-day-II.

AshantiGold defeated Bofoakwa Tano on penalties after a 1-1 score line in regulation time to qualify to the last eight.

Hasaacas beat Gomoah Fetteh Feyenoord 1-0 at the Gomoah Park and Real Sportive recorded an emphatic 3-1 win over rivals Power FC at the Tema Park.
