Inter Allie's first-choice goalkeeper George Apronti has recovered from his injury and is now in contention for the team’s upcoming clash in the Ghana Premier League against King Faisal.
The highly-rated shot-stopper was in action for the Tema-based side last weekend when they played a guest to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After just 18 minutes of play in the first half, he sustained an injury through a clash with an opposing player and had to be stretched off.
Though it was a scary moment, a club statement has today cleared all fears after announcing that George Apronti has been declared fit again by the team’s medical team.
In line with that, he is now expected to man the sticks for Inter Allies when they host King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium in the upcoming weekend.
