Accra Hearts of Oak’s talisman, Joseph Esso could likely miss the team’s Super Clash with nemesis Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday when the two clubs honour a date in the Ghana Premier League.
The two most successful clubs will meet for the first time in 2020 and for the first time in the ongoing 2019/2020 top-flights season.

Ahead of the match, however, information reaching Modernghana Sports has indicated that Hearts of Oak’s attacker Joseph Esso might miss the Asante Kotoko clash.
According to a report by Accra-based Angel FM, the forward suffered a hamstring injury during a training session by the Phobians at the Pobiman Park on Friday evening.
The medical team of Hearts of Oak will now have to assess the player in the next 24 hours to ascertain whether he can play for Coach Edward Nii Odoom’s side tomorrow or not.
The titanic clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off time scheduled for 15:00GMT.
