Ghana has been drawn in Group G of the second round of the African qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will face giant South African.
The Black Stars missed out on the last edition of the global showpiece which was staged in Russia in 2018. Now set to begin a new journey to seek qualification to the tournament, the West African Country has been pitted in a fairly good group at the end of the draw of the second phase in Egypt today.
Besides being billed to face South Africa in the group, Ghana will also face Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
Newly-appointed head coach for the Black Stars, CK Akunnor and his technical team will begin the qualifiers to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in March.
