Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu has admitted that there is pressure on his team ahead of their clash against Medeama Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League.

The two giants of Ghanaian football will go head to head on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa to fight for the available 3 points on Match Week 4 of the ongoing campaign.

In a post-match press conference over the weekend after Kotoko had lost 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea, coach Maxwell Konadu opined that they lost to a better side.

“I accept the fact that we have lost the game. I would not blame it on anybody. We came in to do our best but I guess our best was not enough. I have told the players to move on”, he said.

Looking forward to the next match against Medeama SC, the experienced gaffer says there will be pressure on the Porcupine Warriors. Nonetheless, he is confident his lads can cope to earn a positive result.

“There was pressure on us today and there would be pressure when we go to Medeama. That is what makes football interesting. We will cope”, Coach Maxwell Konadu observed.
