Inter Allies head coach, Tonny Lokko heaped praise on the team’s talisman Victorien Adebayor following his exploits in Allies’ 2-1 win over Bechem United.
Adebayor missed the first match where Allies lost to Aduana Stars but was the star man last weekend, bagging a goal and an assist and was also named the man of the match.
Even though Lokko felt his side could have done better in terms of getting more goals, he said Adebayor added bite to the team.
“He’s a player with special qualities and was able to deploy that on the field of play,” he said.
“I believe as a player you must have some qualities to add value to your team which he did, so that’s what he did and we got the result.”
Allies will be hosted by Karela United in the matchday three fixtures on Sunday at Tarkwa.
