Hearts express appreciation to Ashgold

Accra, April 4, GNA - The Board of Directors, Management, Officials and the general membership of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has expressed appreciation to Ashantigold Football Club for their support and cooperation during their second leg game against St George of Ethiopia, at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium last Saturday.

A statement signed by Mr Thomas Okine, Chief Executive Officer of Hearts copied to the GNA Sports said, "Your kind understanding and sympathies at certain times and the total support exhibited clearly underscores your patriotic position of assisting any club flying the national colours".

The statement said "we also acknowledge and commend the leadership of the National Coordinating Committee of Ashgold Supporters Union for their significant moral support towards the sweet victory at the Len Clay stadium and hope to count on you in subsequent matches".

In a related development, the Club has also expressed its appreciation to Mr Kudjo Fianoo, Chief Executive Officer of Ashgold Football Club for his personal support and direct involvement in all activities to the sweet victory over the Ethiopians.
