King Faisal Captain Hakeem Mujeeb Confident Of Victory Against AshGold

King Faisal captain, Hakeem Mujeeb has noted that his side will defeat Obuasi Ashanti Gold when they host them this weekend in the Ghana Premier League.

The two Ashanti Regional clubs will locks horns in a Match Week 2 fixture of the 2019/2020 top-flight season at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium to fight for 3 points.

After suffering a 4-1 loss at the hands of Dreams FC at the Dawu Park last weekend, King Faisal is hoping to record their first win of the season when they play as a host to Ashanti Gold.

In a pre-match interview to the showdown, captain Hakeem Mujeeb has expressed confidence in the ability of the club to see off the challenge of the Miners to ensure they bag their first 3 points of the campaign.

“We will beat Ashanti Gold on Sunday, they are a strong team but they will fall on Sunday. We have done all the necessary corrections ahead and we are looking forward to Sunday”, he said.

Hakeem Mujeeb added, “We know Ashanti Gold very well, we went to Obuasi to draw 1-1 with them so they don’t scare us. We entreat all our fans to come and support us”.

Meanwhile, Ashgold who recorded a 3-0 win at home against Great Olympics is looking good ahead of the fixture. They will be a tough nut to crack and are even favorites to emerge victorious.
