DEC 30, 2019 LISTEN

Ahead of Match Week 2 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, captain for Legon Cities FC, Jeffery Degorl has noted that they are unfazed by the threat of Asante Kotoko as they prepare to face the side.

Formerly called Wa All Stars, the team that is currently based in the capital city has a daunting task ahead of them where they will be locking horns with the record-title holders.

While pundits tag them as underdogs for the match, Legon Cities FC captain Jeffery Degorl remains optimistic that the side can take on the Porcupine Warriors.

In an interview with Legon media after the club drew 2-2 with Liberty Professionals at the Karl Reindolf Park on Sunday afternoon, the skipper for the side stressed that they will match Kotoko boot-for-boot.

“Asante Kotoko has a big name but we will not consider that name. We will match them boot-for-boot and deliver”, Legon Cities FC captain Jeffery Degorl said.

Elsewhere on Match Week 1, Kotoko recorded a slim 1-0 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders and will look to build on the result when they come up against Legon Cities next weekend.
