New Inter Allies captain Richmond Lamptey is hoping he can lead his side to higher heights after he was named the team’s leader this week.
“It’s an honour to be the Captain of Inter Allies and my aim is to lead the Club to a good position,” he told the Club‘s media team, Allies Media.
He knows the task ahead of the new season is a difficult one but believes in the squad depth to deliver and retain the league status at the end of the season:
“We all know the Ghana Premier League it's not easy but we (Inter Allies) will try our possible best to stay in the league.”
He made an appeal to the club’s fans in support of the GFA’s course to #BringBackTheLove campaign and troop to our matches to offer their unflinching support.
“The fans should come and support Inter Allies and we will never put them to shame. We are going to make them proud.”
He concluded with a statement that will leave smiles and hope in the faces of the fans.
“They should come and support us and we are going to make them happy.”
