Striker Sogne Yacouba and his representatives have refused to ink new contract with Asante Kotoko.
The contract of the 26-year-old expires in February 2020.
Despite Yacouba being the top striker, Kotoko management believes the new contract given to the Burkinabe is the best offer the club can afford.
But it is understood that Yacouba’s camp have rejected the recent contract from Kotoko management on extending his deal for the club, which expires in Feb 2020.
Yacouba and his camp are uncertain but reports indicate his representatives will negotiate for the second time with Kotoko tomorrow if is possible to reach a new deal.
