Football News Baako And Ganiu Begin Training With Kotoko Ahead Of New Season

Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been given a massive squad boost with the return of Maxwell Konadu and Ismail Ganiu from injury ahead of the start of the new season.

Ganiu, formerly a player of Karela United, the 22-year-old center back has been out of action for the past five months after picking up an injury in one of the team’s training sessions.

For Maxwell Baako, he has been out of action for the most part of the year dating back to before the Porcupine Warriors started their campaign in the Normalization Committee Special Competition.

The pair after the long layoffs have now made significant progress as far as getting back to full fitness is concerned and has today trained with their fellow Porcupine Warriors as they continue preparations for the start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

Maxwell Baako and Ismael Ganiu were guided by Kotoko’s Physical Trainer Isaac Ayebah at the Adako Jachie training facility today as they engaged in several drills to build on their fitness.

The two players will continue with their sessions tomorrow and will gradually join their teammates to engage in full-scale training.
