Cape Coast, Mar. 27 GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwards whipped Komenda Unicom K.C, a non-league club, 5-2 in a friendly soccer match played at the Mfantsipim Secondary School sports grounds at the week-end.
The match formed part of preparations being made by Dwarfs towards the 2006 Division One League.
Dwarfs from the blast of the referee's whistle dominated proceedings and scored the opener through centre half, James Azare in the 10th minute but the visitors quickly levelled up the scores in the 15th minute through midfielder, Kobena Ebow. The game from then became balanced until the 44th minute when Dwarfs increased their tally to two through a free kick taken by outside right, Nana Andoh.
On resumption of the second half, the visitors got their second goal through inside left, Isaac Prah in the 73rd minute. Dwarfs forced the tide in their favour in the 75th minute and banged in two more goals through Maxwell Bamful and John Edu Gyamfi to bring the final scores to 5-2 in their favour. 27 March 06
