Communications Director for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has revealed the 3 main targets assigned to newly appointed head coach Maxwell Konadu.
The indigenous manager has been appointed to replace Kjetil Zachariassen who was sacked some weeks ago for failing to guide the Porcupine Warriors to any of CAF’s inter-club competitions.
In an interview with Angel FM on Monday evening following the unveiling of Coach Maxwell Konadu, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has outlined the 3 targets assigned to the manager.
“The target is that within the two-year period he should be able to win the Ghana Premier League, at least a group stage qualification to the CAF Champions League, and at least a semi-final berth in the CAF Confederations Cup”, the Communications Director for the club shared.
He added, “We believe with the experience that he has gained over the years, from Kotoko to the national teams that he has coached, we believe Maxwell Konadu is the right man for the job”.
“He knows the ins and outs of the team, a formal player of the team and all that so he is the best man for the job”.
Kennedy Boakye Ansah further assured that the management of Asante Kotoko is ready to provide the new coach with the needed support to help him succeed.
