It Won’t Be Easy To Break Into Hearts Of Oak’s Starting Eleven – Richard Attah

League Report It Wont Be Easy To Break Into Hearts Of Oaks Starting Eleven – Richard Attah
DEC 5, 2019 LISTEN

Accra Hearts of Oak new signing, Richard Attah has admitted that it will not be easy for him to break into the starting eleven of the club especially looking at the quality of players he will be competing with.

The highly-rated goalkeeper completed his transfer to the Phobian side on a free transfer last weekend after successful negotiations.

He is expected to compete with Richmond Ayi who has been the first choice of manager Kim Grant since he took over as well as the experienced Ben Mensah who has been at the club for the last couple of seasons.

Speaking in an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Richard Attah has noted that it will be difficult to cement a starting role at Hearts of Oak because of the quality of the other goalkeepers.

The former Elmina Sharks shot-stopper shared, “It’s not going to be easy but everything is in the hands of the coach. I think any of the goalkeepers can deliver when given the opportunity”.

Richard Attah added, “With Hearts of Oak having great goalkeepers like Ben Mensah, Richmond Ayi and I, I think selection will be done based on performance”.

Meanwhile, Attah has been tipped to eventually enjoy the first choice goalkeeper role when the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season starts.
