Asante Kotoko To Play Skyy FC In A friendly On December 7

Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko will engage Division One League club Skyy FC in a pre-season friendly match on Sunday, December 7, 2019, at the Daboase St. Martins Park.

The two clubs are currently intensifying preparations ahead of the start of the top-flight league as well as the lower division competition.

In a bid to sharpen all rough edges in their respective squads to ensure they are able to properly compete, they have agreed to honour a pre-season friendly match next weekend.

The encounter is to give managers at both ends the opportunity to try out some different tactics while observing for departments that will need reinforcement before the local league returns.

Kotoko, in particular, is hoping to emerge as champions of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season to have the opportunity of returning to Africa to compete in any of the inter-club competitions.

They, therefore, want to prepare in the off-season very well before the new season comes around.

The friendly match with Skyy FC will kick off at 15:00GMT.
