Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak has lined up an international friendly match against Togolese club Etoile Filante Du Lome ahead of the start of the new season.
The Phobians have currently intensified pre-season training in a bid to ensure that they are able to properly challenge the heavyweight in the top-flight division to have the chance of clinching the title at the end of the season.
After engaging in several low profile friendly matches in the past weeks, manager Kim Grant and his men will test their strength against Togolese side Etoile Filante Du Lome in the coming weekend.
Filante, though a second tier side in Togo, they are expected to give Hearts of Oak a good test especially as they are being coached by veteran Ghanaian coach Abdul Karim Razak.
The international friendly will give the two managers the chance to try out some new tactics and also assess the form of their players before their respective 2019/2020 season starts in their various countries.
The match has been scheduled to take place on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the Stade Municipal in Lome.
Meanwhile, final discussions are still ongoing with the management of Hearts of Oak set to make an official announcement of the friendly in the next 24 hours.
