Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp climbed off the bench to score for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 away win over Burnley at the Turf Moor in the English Premier League.

The versatile player who excels when deployed at left-back started the match from the substitute bench but was introduced into the game on the 69th minute to replace Andros Townsend.

He repaid his manager for giving him a run in the team and went on to find the back of the net on the 78th minute.

He pounced onto a loose ball inside the 18-yard box of Burnley and fired a low shot beyond goalkeeper Nick Pope and into the middle of the net.

Schlupp’s goal complemented a first-half strike from Wilfried Zaha to hand Crystal Palace an important 2-0 win over Burnley on match week 14 of the English Premier League.

Fellow Ghanaian Jordan Ayew featured for the Eagles in their win and lasted 82 minutes before he was replaced by Christian Benteke.

The striker equally impressed and helped the side to bag the vital 3 points which pushed the team to 10th position on the division standings.
