Enigmatic Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku says he will not agree to a rematch with Bastie Samir because he is scared he would either suffer a stroke or die after the fight.

It will be recalled that Banku (30 wins, 1 loss) suffered the only loss his professional career on October 21, 2019, when he was stopped by Bastie at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.

Recalling the much-publicised bout, Banku accused his conqueror of using 'voodoo' to secure that victory, a claim Bastie has denied .

He said he was extremely confident of victory heading into the fight but upon entering the ring his opponent appeared bigger and was stronger.

"...I don't understand, Bastie is short... But when I enter the ring Bastie is bigger than me. I asked my coach whether that was Bastie," Banku said in an interview on UTV.

"They want me to lose the fight because I beat people by heart in the nation. Ghanaians they beat me, what again?. When I fight Bastie a second time when I no get the stroke, I die (sic)".

He stressed that all Ghanaians except his close friends and family were supporting him during the fight.

It will be recalled that the Ghana Boxing Authority has revoked the professional boxing licence of Banku after he failed to honour a contract he had with Box Office Promotions for a rematch with Bastie Samir.
