Owner and bankroller of Wa All Stars, John Paintsil has confirmed that his outfit are in talks to sign for Ghana goalkeeper, Fatawu Dauda ahead of the new campaign.
The former Ashgold shot-stopper is currently clubless after ending his contract with Eyimba FC.
However, Paintsil who also doubles as the coach of the side stressed that they are keen on the Black Stars goalkeeper though no agreement has been reached yet.
“We are still in talks with Fatawu Dauda, we want to have him. If we finish the deal, it will be announced.” Paintsil told reporters after the goalless draw with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
“Our doors are still opened for any player who wants to join us," he added.
Paintsil bought Wa All Stars from former Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi few months ago.
