Ghana Black Stars Coach James Kwesi Appiah says the quest to bring back the love for the Black Stars is highly depended on the Ghanaian Media.
The Black Stars have come under intense criticism from the Ghanaian public for their failure to win any major laurel in the last 37 years.
Kwesi Appiah, who is preparing the Black Stars to play the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers stressed that the Black Stars is the only National team Ghanaians have, and the need to protect it.
In a social media post, Coach Kwesi Appiah said if Ghanaian really want to bring back the love, then much depends on the efforts of the media.
“I believe the Black Stars is the only team we have as Ghanaians and we need to protect and support it together. I believe that if we really want to bring back the love as we all want then a lot will depend on the media,” Kwesi Appiah said.
The Ghana Football Association launched a campaign to get Ghanaians to rally behind the team and to give them the maximum support.
