The Black Meteors of Ghana held their last training session on Thursday night ahead of their clash with the Cameroon u-23 side in the 2019 CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament later today.
The two top countries have been pitted in Group A alongside host nation Egypt as well as Sudan. With the continental showpiece kicking off later this evening, Ghana will be gunning for a win when she takes on its counterpart from Cameroon.
Egypt will take on Sudan in the first match which will be proceeded by a colorful opening ceremony depicting Egyptian and African culture. Then the game will kick off at 17:00GMT at the Cairo International Stadium.
Later in the night, Ghana will lock horns with Cameroon in a cracking fixture which will hand the winner a huge advantage as far as winning the group is concerned.
Kick-off time for that match is at 20:00GMT at the same venue where the first game will be played.
The Black Meteors had their final training session yesterday evening under the floodlight as head coach Ibrahim Tanko and his technical team took the squad through various drills.
