The Deputy Minister of Sports, Hon. Osei Bonsu Amoah has stated that the performance of the Black Stars coach Ratomir Djukovic is not up to expectation.
Speaking on a number of local radio stations in Kumasi on Independence Day, the Deputy Minister stated the need for something to be done to the Stars technical team. The GFA have to either beef up the technical team or replace the coach” said the minister. “Which ever option the GFA deem fit, the earlier they decide the better”. When questioned whether the Ministry would ask the GFA to sack the coach his answer was “whether to sack or maintain the coach is the prerogative of the GFA”.
Hon. O. B. Amoah however emphasized that there is good rapport between his Ministry and the GFA and hoped that a concrete decision will be taken as soon as possible since time is not on our side.
