Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, George Akwasi Afriyie has insisted that he has no doubt that delegates will elect him as the president of the Football Association on October 25.

The Okyeman Planners life financier is in a battle with Kurt Okraku, Amanda Clinton, Lawyer George Ankamah, Fred Pappoe and Nana Yaw Amponsah as to who replaces Kwesi Nyantakyi as the country's football governing body head.

With less than two weeks to the presidential elections, the former Ghana FA vice president is convinced he will emerge as the next Ghana FA president.

"The massive endorsement I have received from delegates gives me the confidence that I will win this election," he told TV3.

"I trust delegates and I know that they will fulfil their pledge," he added.

George Afriyie has exempted himself from the upcoming presidential debate on October 21 citing personal reasons.
