Burkina Faso import, Sogne Yacouba bagged a hat-trick for himself on Saturday, October 12, 2019, to help Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeat Bekwai Youth Football Academy 4-0 in a friendly encounter.

The Ghana Premier League giants continued their preparations for the final playoff round to the Group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup this weekend with a friendly match to test the form of their players.

At the end of a very good exercise at the team’s training grounds at Adako Jachie, the Porcupine Warriors managed to cruise to victory over their opponent by scoring four times and keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Sogne Yacouba who was making his first start for the club since his failed transfer in the summer transfer window managed to net a hat-trick to remind the club of his quality.

Summer signing George Abege who has also been finding it difficult to open his goal-scoring account finally put one in the back of the opposition’s net to complete the resounding win.

Kotoko is expected to continue preparations for their two-legged encounter with Ivorian side FC San Pedro later this month.

They are hoping to emerge victorious at the end of the tie to ensure they progress to the group stage of the 2019/2020 CAF Confederations Cup.
