Mr. George Afriyie believes the integrity of the Football Association can only be restored to the level every Ghanaian will appreciate when someone from the FA becomes the new GFA boss.

The Ghana Football Association presidential hopeful who appeared on Ghana Television for an interview arranged for all presidential candidates highlighted on a number of issues bedevilling the progress of Ghana football and amazingly proposed solutions as well.

Some of the key areas he talked about included combating hooliganism, improving Women Football, creating enabling the environment to allow for an all-inclusive football Administration, and many others.

On Women Football, the Caf Afcon organizing committee member said his administration will allocate some percentage from bonuses paid to national team players to be distributed to their respective clubs for further development.

George Afriyie further mentioned that measures will be put in place to ensure a violent free football environment such that Women and children can freely go to the various stadia to watch matches of their choice.

His Redemption, Restoration and Revival manifesto which was launched last Saturday in Sunyani, covered a number of interventions to revive Ghana football including creating an environment for clubs to improve the wages of their players.

Other equally important areas the manifesto captured included the establishment of an anti-bribery and corruption code for members of the executive council, staff of the FA, and appointees.

Additionally, he pledged not to interfere in the works of the judicial process, and many others.

The Ghana FA elections will be held on 25th October, 2019.
