Black Stars “B” captain, Shafiu Mumuni, has attributed his impressive forme to head coach, Maxwell Konadu.
The AshantiGold ace hit the ground running with a superb hat-trick for Black Stars B to become the first player to score three goals in one match in the history of the tournament.
And according to the 25-year-old, he draws inspiration from the head coach of the Black Stars B as he always demands a lot from him and so urges him to go an extra mile.
“My coach inspires me a lot. He always wants the best out from me and motivates me when the going gets tough. I will give the credit to the coach and the entire playing body for this sweet victory,” he told the press.
Ghana will play Senegal in the finals of the tournament on Sunday.
Shafiu has scored four goals in this year’s WAFU tournament in Senegal.
