GFA Elections: George Afriyie To Unveil Manifesto On October 3
Former vice president of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie is set to launch his manifesto and campaign for the 2019 GFA election on October 3 in Sunyani.
The Okyeman Planners owner and bankroller who is the favourite to take over from ex-GFA boss Kwesi Ntantakyi will outline eight critical areas that his administration will workaround when voted into power.
The experienced football administrator wants to change the bad image of the association following the airing of the investigative piece by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghana football.
Seven candidates have already picked nominations for the top job including former Black Stars management committee chairman, Wilfried Osei, Kurt E.S Okraku and ex-vice president Fred Pappoe.
Other names on the list are Amanda Clinton, George Ankomah Mensah and Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The unveiling of the manifesto will take place at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani at 12:00GMT.
The GFA Presidential elections have been scheduled for October 25.
