GFA Elections: Randy Abbey Files For Executive Council Position

GFA Elections: Randy Abbey Files For Executive Council Position
20.09.2019 LISTEN

Former Ghana Football Association Communications Director, Randy Abbey has filed for nomination to contest for a slot on the Executive Council of the Ghana FA.

The Hearts of Lions life financier is one of the best brains in football administration in the country and when given the opportunity could revive the dwindling image of Ghana Football according to some renowned football administrators.

The Good Morning Ghana host is the third football administrator to disclose his candidature after Ashantigold Chief Executive Officer, Frederick Acheampong and Kotoko’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), George Amoako.

Abbey is likely to sail through easily despite coming from a division representation.

However, the updated reforms will see a reduction of the composition from 23 to 12 members this time round.

The GFA Executive Council elections are set to be held on October 24.
