Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has confirmed that Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey will miss the side’s clash with Real Sociedad later today.
The Rojiblancos are so far unbeaten in the ongoing Spanish La Liga season and are targeting their fourth victory this weekend when they visit the Anoeta Stadium.
Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has disclosed that Partey will not be able to feature for the side.
“In principle, Thomas and Morata are not going to participate in the San Sebastian game. And Savic has returned well to training and today he finished the training in the best way, so he will surely be among those called”, the Argentine tactician said.
Thomas Partey’s services will be missed following his outstanding start to the 2019/2020 La Liga season.
He climbed off the bench to score the winner for the Madrid-based club in their last game against Eibar at the Wanda Metropolitano before the international break.
