The head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie is very optimistic his side will progress to the next stage of the Caf champions league.
Speaking to Space FM after Sunday's drawn game against Aigle Royal de la Manoua, Afranie said, Aigle were lucky and that accounted for the drawn game. 'We were better than them. They were lucky to score that score. It was due to our own mistake and I am sure we will surely beat them in the second leg”.
The last time Kotoko won the champions league (African club championship) was in 1983, and have vowed to conquer Africa this year.
