If the earth doesn’t quake, at least the immediate surroundings of the Bukom Sports Emporium will, when the Barima, the zoom-zoom, the professor himself, Azumah Nelson, sets foot there, on Thursday, September 19.
The occasion will witness the launch of sports journalist Ekow Asmah’s book-‘Celebration Of Our World Champions Vol. 3’ at the conference room of the Emporium.
It is expected to draw some of the greatest names in boxing, from administration, coaching, promotions, management, philanthropy, media, politics and state authorities.
Besides hall of famer Azumah Nelson, Ghana’s first boxing world champion, David Kotei (DK) Poison, will register his grand presence.
Other former world champions, Ike Quartey and Joshua Clottey will be present, too.
Azumah Nelson’s father-in-law, Yoofi Boham, Goodwill Sports Ambassador Ray Quarcoo, WBC Referee/ Judge Eddie Pappoe, WBC Referee/ Judge Roger Barnor, promoter Alex Ntiamoah are some of the many industry heavyweights will grace the grand occasion.
