Petroleum prices up by about 10%

The National Petroleum Authority has announced new prices for petroleum products.

A gallon of petrol now sells at 34, 850 cedis, representing about ten percent increase.

Kerosene now sells at ¢24,500, whilst a gallon of gas oil costs ¢32,000. The price of a 14.5 kilogram of LPG stands at 80, 000 cedis, premix fuel sells at ¢21,000 per gallon.

This is the second time in two months that adjustments have been made to prices of petroleum products.

Last month's review by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) saw a marginal decrease in petroleum prices.
