Medal hopeful, Abdul Wahid Omar returns to action after his victory yesterday whilst Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, Jessie Lartey makes his AG debut, same as Anani Kutsoke.
Wahid Omar who also won bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games advanced to the next round alongside Commonwealth Games 2018 teammates, Jessie Lartey and Sulemanu Tetteh as well as new entrant, Shakul Samed, a kid brother of the famous Samir brothers.

Omar Abdul Wahid (Ghana) won 4-1 over Bin Khayr Abdlbasit (Libya) in the Men’s Light Weight 63kg and had a lot of cheers.
Hamout Mohammed (Morocco) won 4-1 over Addo Yaw Samuel (Ghana) in the Men's Feather Weight 57kg.
Tabi Sofiane (Algeria) won 5-0 over Ghana’s Quartey Abubakari Kwasi in the Men's Middleweight 75kg.
