Nigeria Premier League giants, Kano Pillars has arrived in Ghana ahead of their crunch meeting with Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the CAF Champions League.

The two clubs will lock horns this weekend in a make or break tie as they look to advance to the next stage of CAF’s top-tier inter-club competition.

The Kano-based side holds a small advantage going into the fixture after beating the Porcupine Warriors 3-2 at the Sani Abacha Stadium a couple of weeks ago.

With less than 48 hours to the crucial game, the Nigerians have touched down in Ghana to have the chance of training at the match venue tomorrow to ensure they adequately prepare.

First, though, they will be training at the Poku Ware School Park today as they look to acclimatize with the weather in Kumasi.

With the result from the first leg, Kotoko needs a big win to be on the safer side to steer them into the next round of the annual competition.

The match will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday at 15:00GMT with the team that progresses expected to face either Haifa FC or Etoile Du Sahel.
