The selected match officials for the second leg tie between Obuasi Ashanti Gold and Akonangui FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup have successfully arrived in Ghana.
The Ghanaian club returned home from Equatorial Guinea two weeks ago after playing a 1-1 draw in Ebebiyín. The result means that they have their own destiny in their hands when they host their counterpart at their own backyard.
With 24 hours away from the crucial match, four Nigerian referees picked by the organizers of the second-tier inter-club competitions have touched down in Ghana.
Center referee Abdoulaye Rhisa Almustapha together with Sadissou Idi and Soufia Abdou as assistant referees and Moussa Ahamadou as the fourth official touched down at the Kotoka International Airport at 21:00GMT on Thursday.
They are expected to warm up at the Len Clay Sports Stadium which will serve as the venue for the deciding match between Ashgold and Akonangui FC.
Kick-off time for the match is at 15:00GMT on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
