Technical Director for Dreams FC, Karim Zito has implored Kumasi Asante Kotoko to improve their defense ahead of their crucial second leg tie against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League.

The Porcupine Warriors played away to their Nigerian counterpart last Saturday but disappointingly lost 3-2 despite taking the lead in the second half. Their defense leaked when they needed it to stand and resulted in them losing the match at the end of 90 minutes.

Having returned to Ghana, they have stepped up preparations in hopes of adequately preparing for the second leg of the tie to ensure they secure qualification into the next round of the competition.

Sharing his thought earlier today on the back of the upcoming fixture, Karim Zito has urged the technical handlers of Kotoko to work on improving the defensive department of the team before hosting the Kano based side.

“Kotoko did well but my problem is how they conceded those three goals. This technical handles must work on how they have been conceding goals because it can cause the team moving forward”.

“Playing in Africa, all departments in the team must work to perfection because it won’t be an easy game”, the formal Kotoko coach said in an interview with Ashh FM.

The deciding fixture has been scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on August 25, 2019.
